SPRUNG CHAIR

DESIGN: ERIK KROGH  /  MADE BY B.J. METAL
The sprung chair. Named "LEONARDO I" because it recalls Leonardo da Vinci's famous male figure standing with outstretched arms and encompassed by a circle. The rocker comprises one sixth of Leonardo's circle, and the man's spread legs are reflected in the lines of the two springs. The proporting and spaciousness are thus a tribute to Leonardo - whose man, after standing up for 500 years, can at long last lie down on a soft, spring couch.
